Got to Be Free. Rock musical

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1645458648613{border-top-width: 5px !important;padding-right: 60px !important;}”]In 2014, during the events of the Revolution of Dignity, seven enthusiasts from various professions (musicians, actors, bankers, lawyers) gathered around the recording of the music album “Got To Be Free”. Later this musical story of Maidan turned into a rock-musical, which had been presented in concert location “Sentrum”, Kyiv on 26-27 May 2016.

GOT TO BE FREE consists of stories about the protest aesthetics of the Maidan heroes. Each story — is recollection of an internal impulse for freedom, a struggle for the dignity of the country, the conflict with the titushki, the war, the dream of a society for better future and love among the burned tires.

GOT TO BE FREE — is about the transformation of all of us, a society that will never be the same.
The music and lyrics to the musical were written by VO’Lavrenchuk who was impressed by the Maidan protest movement.
